The Sherrard School District gets another visit from an elected official. This time it’s Illinois Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti. She was asked about school safety in the aftermath of a school shooting incident in Dixon, Illinois.

Sanguinetti is the fifth elected to visit Sherrard schools in the past 18 months, joining State Senator Chuck Weaver, State Reps. Mike Halpin, and Dan Swanon and Western Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos.
