Two local men arrested on grooming charges. 45-year-old Richard Carle of Keithsburg and 34-year-old Ryan Leihsing of Aledo were taken into custody Tuesday following a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department and Aledo Police Department investigation regarding improper phone communication with a minor. Carle is also facing a failure to register as a sex offender charge and Leihsing faces a count of obstruction of justice. Both men are being held in the Mercer County Jail.
