No one injured in a car fire along Illinois Route 17 in New Windsor. It happened Thursday near 300th Street. Route 17 was closed a short time due to the vehicle blocking the east bound lane of traffic. A Mercer County Sheriff’s Department report indicates all of the occupants were able to exit the vehicle unharmed.
