A final pre-trial conference has been scheduled for a Viola man charged in a child porn investigation. 46-year-old James Eric Haley faces 16 felony counts. He appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court Tuesday morning where a final pre-trial conference was set for Dec. 7. A jury trial is scheduled for Jan. 24.
Haley was arrested in August of 2019 and was released on a $500,000 recognizance bond in March of 2020. The 16 felony counts are in connection with allegations involving a 15-year-old girl.
