The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department announcing a man has been arrested for stealing a vehicle from rural Joy. 36 year old Steven S. Ellis of Joy was taken into custody Saturday. He has been charged with theft of motor vehicle and driving revoked. Deputies located the vehicle in New Boston. Ellis was booked at the Mercer County Jail and is awaiting his initial court appearance.
