The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department announce a heroin arrest. 36 year old Rusty Line of Wataga was taken into custody Thursday. Deputies were originally responding to a DUI complaint, but a press release indicates Line was not under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation led to the discovery of heroin and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. Line is being held in the Mercer County Jail. Warren County deputies assisted Mercer County with the arrest.
