Mercer County has a new Public Defender. Attorney Andrew M. Larson, with law offices in Moline and Aledo, has been appointed to the position, according to a communication from the Chief Judge’s office in the 14th Judicial Circuit. Larson replaces Dan Dalton, who was appointed associate judge in February.
