An online effort raises over $1,200 for the Mercer County VFW and Aledo American Legion. The GoFundMe campaign was organized by Mike Chausse of Aledo in July. He says $641 checks have been delivered to both organizations. The two have been impacted financially by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
