An overwhelming response from Mercer County residents who want the COVID-19 vaccine. The health department had 100 appointments available for the first shipment of the vaccine for those 65 and over and frontline essential workers. It didn’t take long for those spots to be filled up says health dept. administrator Carla Ewing. She says additional doses are coming and more information will be released on future clinics as shipments arrive.
Ewing was speaking with WRMJ Friday morning just shortly after those first 100 appointments were filled up.
