The Medicare open enrollment period runs through December 7th and there are Senior Health Insurance Program counselors available locally at the Mercer County Senior Center at 582-7221 or Genesis Medical Center, Aledo at 582-3717. The Illinois Department on Aging’s Sandy Leith says seniors should take time to review their current plan.
