The Mercer County School district saw an increase in revenue but also a rise in expenses in the FY21 budget. The board approved the amended budget at Wednesday night’s meeting. Revenues increased from $16.5 million to $17.3 million and expenses increased from $15.9 million to $16.6 million. Superintendent Scott Petrie summarizes the district’s finances.
The board also approved the first day of full attendance for the 2021-2022 school year, which will be August 18.
