Two men headed to federal prison in a child porn case that originated in Mercer County. William Ashby of East Moline was sentenced to 96-months today at U.S. District Court in Rock Island and Aaron Beauchamp of Matherville received a 64-month term. Both were originally charged at the state level in March of 2016 for incidents involving a 16-year-old juvenile. The state charges were dismissed so the case could proceed to federal court. Beauchamp and Ashby have been in custody since their arrest over two years ago.
