The Mercer County Golden Eagles volleyball team posted their first win of the season in their Lincoln Trail Conference opener going on the road and winning in two straight games over the Annawan. Candy Lopez was also named interim head volleyball coach at Rockridge. Valerie Kline stepped down for personal reasons.There was a large schedule of high school golf on Wednesday.
