A coat drive led by Mercer County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Jacob Marlow netted positive results during this ongoing pandemic. The effort was able to collect and purchase over 70 winter coats, hats and gloves that were distributed to schools throughout Mercer County. Employees of the sheriff’s department donated $500 for the cause. This marked the second year for the drive, which occurred Oct. 3-25.
