Eden Mueller finished first at the IHSA 1A Rock Falls Cross Country Regional. Mueller ran an 18:17 to win the regional. The Mercer County girls earned a third-place finish, advancing to the sectional. Sherrard finished second and Rockridge finished sixth to advance as well.
Derek Coulter led the Mercer County boys to a second-place finish at the regional. Coulter placed fifth individually with a time of 16:24.
