A Muscatine man injured in a weekend crash in Kirkwood in Warren County. An Illinois State Police report says 65 year Michael Payne was traveling at a high rate of speed crossing an inclined roadway at a railroad crossing Saturday at around 5 p.m. His vehicle went airborne and struck an embankment. He was transported to OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth by Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service. State police cited him with aggravated DUI, DUI Alcohol, Reckless Driving, Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash, Disobeyed Stop Sign, and Driving While License Revoked.
