One person killed in a rollover hayrack ride accident in west central Illinois. According to Illinois State Police, the mishap occurred Saturday night in Hancock County when a tractor pulling a hayrack veered off the road and overturned.
Twenty people were on the hayrack with 17 being sent to an area hospital with injuries, including 14 children. Two children and the driver of the tractor were uninjured. The driver was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The deceased was identified as a 32-year-old woman.
