Week 4 of the High School Football season began Friday night. Mercer County dropped a close contest at George Pratt Memorial Field to the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans 20-14. The Golden Eagles got touchdowns from Evan Lilly and Trey Essig, but Mercer County fell to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play. The Orion Chargers continued their winning ways as they beat Riverdale 56-0 to improve to 4-0 on the season. Charger quarterback Dawson Schulenberg was 17-20 through the air for 246 yards and 5 touchdowns. Rockridge was upset at home by Fulton 35-6, as the Steamers scored the final 35 points of the game and Sherrard dropped their 17th consecutive game, 42-8 to Princeton.
