Week 9 of the high school football season got underway Friday night. The Mid-County Cougars scored 22 unanswered points to storm back and beat Mercer County 28-21 at George Pratt Memorial Field. Orion shutout the Rockridge Rockets, 31-0, to finish up an undefeated regular season and Sherrard ended their 2018 campaign by getting beaten by Spring Valley Hall 45-0.
