Orion won an IHSA Class 2A Regional Championship on their home floor by beating Fulton 41-39 Friday night. The Chargers’ Josh Johnson got fouled and made a lay-up with under 30 seconds left in the game to put Orion ahead. Johnson led Orion with 15 points. With the win, the Chargers advance to the Class 2A Riverdale Sectional next week, where they will play Bureau Valley on Tuesday night.
