Two Mercer County High School students planning a “Justice for George Floyd Black Lives Matter Peaceful Protest”. The event is scheduled for next Saturday at Aledo Central Park and is being organized by Zoe Nevels and Iliawna Hook.
Nevels just graduated from Mercer County High School and is attending Bradley University in the fall. Hook will be a junior at Mercer County High School in the fall.
The two are asking that everyone in attendance wears a face mask, and uses social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
