Probable Cause Found In Viola Man’s Sex Assault Case

Probable cause has been found at a Viola man’s criminal sexual assault preliminary hearing.  50 year old Robert W. Breshears Jr. is facing two Class 1 felonies in connection with alleged incidents involving a female between the ages of 13 and 18. Breshears is free after posting 10-percent of his $250,000 bond. A pre-trial conference is set for Jan. 19. Breshears is being represented by Rock Island attorney Art Winstein. The preliminary hearing was held Tuesday morning in Mercer County Circuit Court.
