Even though most of Roosevelt Military Academy’s physical presence is now gone in Aledo, that’s not stopping former cadets from coming to town. Aledo will always be a big deal to RMA alumni says 1947 grad Mel Bogus. He came to the academy from the St. Louis area. Bogus will be back in Aledo in late August for a reunion. He stayed in both the North Barracks and Niles Hall while at RMA. Those two buildings were brought down last December.
RMA cadets will be in Aledo for the all-class reunion on Saturday, August 25th. The school closed in 1973.
