The Rockridge Rockets and Orion Chargers advanced to the Orion Class 2A baseball regional championship game Saturday with semi-final wins Wednesday. In the first game of the day Orion rallied for a 5-2 win over Sherrard and in the nightcap Rockridge held off Mercer County 4-2. At the other regional sites that will feed into the Sherrard sectional, Monmouth-Roseville rallied to down West Hancock at Carthage, Eureka pounded Fieldcrest 14-4 at Eureka and Brimfield-Elmwood rolled over Farmington 13-2 at Brimfield.
