The Rockridge Rocket softball team opened up Three Rivers Athletic Conference West Division play with a convincing 15-0 win over Morrison Monday. The Rocket’s Lexi Hines spun a no-hitter in the five inning contest as Rockridge took advantage of 7 Filly errors. In other aciton Rowva-Williamsfield beat North Fulton 8-6 and West Central handled Knoxville 5-1.
In baseball, it was Ridgewood 7 Monmouth-Roseville 3, Faith Christian 6 Orion 0, Alleman 9 Canton 2 and Eureka 7 Princeville 5.
Orion-Sherrard won their fourth in a row to open the season with a 6-1 win over LaSalle-Peru in girls soccer.
