The Rockridge Rockets held off the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers 37-22 in Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball Friday night. The Rockets held the Panthers scoreless in the second quarter en route to the victory. The Sherrard Tigers came up short at Annawan 56-44. At the United Holiday Tournament, Ridgewood captured the title with a 65-62 win over West Prairie to finish 4-1. In other tournament action, Riverdale beat Knoxville 50-40 and United beat West Central 59-54. That left the Blue Bullets, Heat and Red Storm at 3-2.
