Since 2013, the Sherrard High School All School Senate has been sponsoring and hosting the B.J Luxmore Memorial Blood Drive. This year’s event is Tuesday, Feb. 18. 92 appointments is the goal. WRMJ News Director Jim Taylor spoke with All School Senate president Kate Hatlestad Friday morning.
Luxmore was killed in action in Afghanistan in June of 2012. He grew up on a farm in New Windsor, graduating from Sherrard High School in 2005.
