The Sherrard Tigers rolled to the girls Three Rivers Athletic Conference track title at Bureau Valley Thursday. The Tigers piled up 176 points to easily outdistance second place Erie-Prophetstown. Rockridge placed fourth and Orion took eighth. Sherrard was lead by sophomore Lillian Russell. Russell swept the dashes winning the 100, 200, and 400 and was a member of the winning 4 X 100 relay team with Kelsey Hutchins, Lauren Copeland, and Sarah Neal. Other local first-place finishers were Charlotte Frere of Sherrard in the Discus, Kelsey Hutchins of Sherrard in the Triple Jump, Olivia Thomsen of Orion in the 1600, and Sherrard’s 4 X 400 relay team of Copeland, Beth Churchill, Madison Mathis, and Neal and the 4 X 200 relay team of Sydney Adamson, Ava Thomas, Copeland, and Neal.
