Country music songstress and Aledo native Suzy Bogguss has released Live at Caffe Milano, the rare and only live album she ever recorded, on all digital streaming platforms. The recording was captured during a performance at the storied Nashville club Caffe Milano in 1999 and has only been sold in CD format at her concerts and on her website ever since. The singer/songwriter’s fans around the world can now enjoy beautifully recorded live versions of her seven Top 10 hits and other favorites, including “Night Rider’s Lament,” which remains one of the most-requested songs at Suzy’s concerts to this day. Bogguss also premiered a video for the album’s version of “Hey Cinderella” on her YouTube channel earlier today.
“In the late ‘90s, before 2nd Avenue and Broadway were crowded with live music venues, there was mostly just Printer’s Alley,” remembers Bogguss. “My good friend Chet Atkins started playing Tuesday nights at a 225-seat supper club downtown called Caffe Milano. He asked me to sit in and then to take over a few nights, and I fell in love with the venue. Before long I was doing my own nights. The audiences at Caffe Milano were always really enthusiastic and they’re definitely one of my favorite things about the album!”

Our friends at Time Life got excited about putting it out digitally, and since they really know how to reach a broad audience, I got excited too!”
