Local State Rep. Dan Swanson is leading the charge on another measure involving Lyme Disease. The Senate today unanimously approved House Bill 889, which mandates insurance coverage for long-term antibiotic therapy (over four weeks) for a person with a tick-borne disease.
The bill now heads to the Governor’s desk for his consideration.
