A New Boston man has been sentenced to ten years in prison in a 2018 residential burglary case. 35 year old Joshua Session was found guilty of the Class 1 felony charge during a bench trial in October. He was originally scheduled to be sentenced in January, but failed to appear for a hearing and a warrant was then issued. Session was back in custody in February. On Friday, Mercer County State’s Attorney Meeghan Lee sought a ten-year term for Session with defense attorney Geoffrey Campbell seeking a four-year term. Judge Greg Chickris settled for the ten-year term. Session was arrested back in April of 2018.
