The Aledo City Council has approved extending up to $200,000 in TIF funds to renovate the former Hall’s Shoes storefront. The building is owned by W.J. Albertson, who is also renovating the former Appleton Law Office and former Mercer Carnegie Library. Mayor Chris Hagloch updated the city council this week on Albertson’s plans for the library building.
Albertson also owns the former Aledo Meat Market and Cooper TV storefronts.
