The Aledo City Council’s TIF Committee will address several items this week. W.J. Albertson has submitted a TIF application for the former Cooper TV storefront. TIF applications have also been submitted for the Mercer County Family Eye Care building and Jason Doherty of Doherty Brothers for property located at 204 SE 6th Avenue. The committee will also discuss hiring a firm to handle issues related to the sunsetting of the TIF district, which takes place in December of 2021. The TIF Committee meets Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
