The Sherrard Tigers edged Erie-Prophetstown to capture the Class 1A Rockridge girls sectional track title. The top three finishers in each event advanced to the state finals on June 10 in Charleston. In regional softball semi-final play, both Rockridge and Sherrard advanced with easy wins.
