Mercer County could not hold off Monmouth-Roseville on their home floor and fell to the Titans 65-60 in boys basketball action Tuesday night. The Titans got off to a quick 15-5 lead but the Golden Eagles rallied to take a 31-26 lead at halftime. The lead shrunk to 49-45 after three and Monmouth-Roseville tied it at 54 with 3:00 left in the game. The Titans were then able to pull away for the win. Mercer County was lead by Cade Sharp who connected on 7 three point shots and had 23 points. Rashaun King added 21 as Mercer County dropped to 1-4 on the season. They will host Rockridge Friday night in their home opener.
