USDA Releases Mercer County Corn & Soybean Production Numbers From 2020 Growing Season

Mercer County corn production totaled 27,909,000 bushels last growing season with an average yield of 192.1 bushels per acre. Soybean production in the county totaled 5,875,000 bushels with an average yield of 58.4 bushels per acre. How does that compare to the rest of Illinois. Rock Island County averaged 199.3 bushels for corn and 60.2 for soybeans; Henry County 209 for corn and 61.2 for soybeans; Knox County 205 for corn and 62.9 for soybeans; Warren County 211.1 for corn and 65.5 for soybeans; and Henderson County averaged 200.4 bushels per acre for corn and 61.1 for soybeans last growing season.
