The West Central Board of Education will take action on a proposal for the Heat to move to 8-man football beginning next season. The item is on the Wednesday, Dec. 18 school board agenda. If approved, the move will have an impact on the 2020 Lincoln Trail Conference football schedule. The Illinois 8-Man Football Association crowned its second state champion last month at Monmouth College.
