Mercer County hunters harvested 185 wild turkeys during the recently completed spring season. The number compares to 225 last year. Statewide, the wild turkey harvest is also down—13,383 this year compared to 15,831 in 2020.
The rest of the area counties this spring include 132 in Henderson, 106 in Henry, 221 in Knox, 152 in Rock Island, and 47 wild turkeys harvested in Warren County this spring.
