WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor visited with IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson Wednesday morning. The two discussed this month’s IHSA Board meeting, which included a mask update and information on state final dates and sites. Details were also shared on the implementation of an annual IHSA membership assessment over the next three years plus a change in summer contact days this year. Anderson also reiterated the IHSA’s plans for a normal calendar returning next school year, with traditional fall sports like football, golf, volleyball and cross country beginning practice on Aug. 9.
