The New Year will feature a $1-million library project in Aledo. The Mercer Carnegie Library is moving forward with a 4,400 square foot facility in 2018 says library director Catherine Worsley.
The new library will be located along East Main Street—in a vacant lot just north of Blick & Blick Oil.
Construction is set to begin this spring.
