Money being raised for a couple of local efforts during Veterans Day weekend next month. The causes include the Keithsburg Veterans Memorial and Honor Flight of the Quad Cities says past Mercer County VFW Post Commander Bill Brown.
The event on November 11th is from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Mercer County VFW. The Battle of the Bars on the 10th features the VFW Post, Ferg’s Public House, Eagles Nest, Beer Bellies, Rocky’s Sturgeon Bay Inn, Jeronimo’s, Risky’s II, City Limits, Oakview Country Club, 1847 Barn and Grill, Off The Hook, and The Paddock Bar and Grill.
