Out-of-county inmate numbers are back up at the Mercer County Jail. Sheriff Dusty Terrill provided an update to the Mercer County Board this week.
Also this week, County Administrator Ron Fullerlove reported that one “big item” remains in labor negotiations with the union representing courthouse, highway department, and sheriff’s department employees. He says the issue is employee pay. The current labor deal expired in November of 2018.
