A local partnership helps respond to local food insecurity issues. The Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry, Community Bible Fellowship Church and Mercer County Farm Bureau teamed up to bring the River Bend Mobile Food Pantry to Aledo on Saturday. Mark Barnhouse is outreach coordinator for Community Bible Fellowship.

74 local families were served on Saturday.
