Blood supplies run low during the holiday and winter seasons, but locally, donors can help out this week. There’s a Mercer County American Red Cross blood drive Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Mercer County VFW. Here’s an update from Brian Williamsen with the Red Cross.
Again, the blood drive is from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mercer County VFW. Walk-ins are welcome or you can make an appointment by calling 800-RED-CROSS or visiting RedCrossBlood.org.
