The Aledo City Council moving forward with creating a Maintenance Code Deputy Inspector. The position was approved Monday night says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
Also on the personnel front, Hagloch says the city administrator position will be posted sometime in the New Year.
The city has decided to separate the city administrator and police chief position in 2023. Chris Sullivan has been occupying both roles. He remains on paid leave awaiting trial on official misconduct and battery charges.
