A decision made on what to do with the reward money that was collected in the aftermath of last May’s attack on former Mercer County Board member Fred Rooth. Police work solved the case so $23,000 in reward money is still in the bank says Sheriff Dave Staley. He spoke with WRMJ today.

The man who was arrested for the crime, 56 year old Brian Tully of Burlington, pleaded guilty to home invasion charges in December and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
