Work underway on the new baseball diamond project at Aledo’s Northside Park. Director of Public Works Justin Blaser provided an update at this week’s Aledo City Council meeting.
The new diamond is being constructed west of the existing big diamond and a portion of the project is being funded by a $30,000 grant from the Looser-Flake Foundation.
The dimensions of the new field are 335 feet down the lines and 385 feet to center field.
