Results released from a special detail conducted by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department over the weekend. The effort was funded by a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The added enforcement on Saturday resulted in citations for speeding and disobeying a stop sign. Deputies also made an arrest for driving while license revoked, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
