The Aledo City Council expected to award the contract for the interior renovation project at Aledo City Hall next week. The item is on Monday night’s agenda. The city council approved borrowing $1-million for exterior and interior improvements to city hall last year. The exterior project was completed last fall. Also Monday night, aldermen will meet in closed session and then act on a resignation submitted by Water Superintendent Travis Matlick, who has spent over 19 years with the city.
