The City of Aledo hosting an informational meeting next week concerning the proposed extension of a multi-use path. The extension will run from SE 3rd Street to SE 6th Street along SE 8th Avenue and then along SE 6th Street from SE 8th Avenue 325 feet westerly. The meeting will be an open house format from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, August 26, at the Aledo Fire Department. Preliminary exhibits will be available for review. City of Aledo reps along with the engineering firm overseeing the project will be on hand to answer questions.
